Where the call gets lost.

The moments a pressure washing business misses the phone, and what each one costs.

You cannot hear the phone over the machine

A pressure washer at full throttle is louder than any ring tone, and your hands are on a wand or a surface cleaner for hours at a stretch. The calls come anyway: a realtor who needs a house washed before Friday's listing photos, an HOA with a hundred feet of dirty sidewalk. They do not leave voicemails. The next truck gets the call.

The season is short and the phone is the funnel

In most of the country the work runs from the first warm weekend to the leaves coming down. Everything you earn comes in that window, and almost all of it starts as a phone call from a homeowner looking at a green deck. Miss a handful of those calls each week in May and there is no month in the year to make it up.

Commercial work calls during business hours only

The property manager with six storefronts and a parking garage calls between nine and five, once, from an office. Residential callers try again in the evening; commercial ones do not. That contract, monthly dumpster pads and quarterly sidewalks, is the steadiest money in the trade, and it goes to whoever answers on the first try.

What Ansurra does on the call.

The receptionist, in pressure washing terms.

Square-foot pricing from your own list

Pressure washing is one of the few trades that can price over the phone: a driveway by the square foot, a house wash by story and siding type, a deck by the board foot. Write those on your price list and Ansurra quotes them word for word. For roof cleaning, rust removal or anything the list says needs eyes on it, it books an estimate instead of guessing.

Jobs and estimates land on the calendar

Ansurra offers only the days and arrival windows genuinely open on your calendar and books the wash or the estimate visit during the call. The customer gets an email confirmation and a reminder about a day before, which cuts the driveways with a car still parked on them. When a week of rain pushes everything back, customers call and it reschedules.

Recurring commercial contracts booked as a series

Storefront sidewalks every month, dumpster pads every quarter, a restaurant patio before each season. Ansurra supports repeat visits, so a commercial customer's schedule can be set up as a recurring series on your calendar in one call. Property managers who call back are recognized by caller ID and greeted with their history, so nobody has to explain which building they mean.

The details that make the quote hold up

Every call collects what you tell it to: surface type, rough square footage or number of stories, siding material, whether there is a water spigot on site, gate access, and the address and callback number. The recording and transcript sit in your dashboard, each lead scored zero to ten, so the whole-exterior house wash sits above the single-step question.

A call, start to finish.

CallerHi, I'm looking to get my driveway and the front walk pressure washed. Can you give me a rough price?
AnsurraHappy to. Do you know roughly how long and wide the driveway is, or how many cars fit on it?
CallerIt's a two-car, maybe forty feet long. The walk is just a short path to the door.
AnsurraFrom our price list, a two-car driveway of that size is one hundred sixty dollars, and a front walk under fifty feet is included. Would you like to book it, or have someone come out and look first?
CallerLet's book it. Do I need to be home?
AnsurraNot for a driveway, as long as the spigot is on and the cars are moved. The first open morning on the calendar is Thursday at nine. Does that work?
CallerThursday at nine is fine. It's twenty-two Kessler Drive in Belmont.
AnsurraYou're booked for Thursday at nine at twenty-two Kessler Drive. A confirmation email is on the way, with a reminder the day before so the cars are out.

Ansurra vs. what you use today.

Voicemail, an answering service, a person at the desk: what each still does better, and what it costs.

Voicemail during the busy season

Pressure washing has the shortest season and the fastest callers. A homeowner with a green deck calls three numbers in five minutes and books the first one that quotes. Voicemail is silence on the line. Ansurra quotes from your list, books the job and sends the confirmation before the second number is dialed.

A live answering service

A human message service can take a name and number, but it cannot tell a caller what a two-car driveway costs, and it cannot see that Thursday is open. The customer waits for a callback that comes after you shut the machine off at six. Ansurra does the quote and the booking in the call. A live operator still soothes an angry customer about a stripe on a deck better; Ansurra sends those calls to you.

Hiring someone for the phone

Most pressure washing companies are one owner, one truck and a helper in summer. Nobody sits at a desk. Ansurra is the front desk for less than a single day's wages a month, answers on the wand-hours and the evenings, and hands you a scored list of who to call back. When you add a second truck, it stays as the second line.

How it works.

01

Paste your website

Ansurra reads your services, hours and service area and drafts its own knowledge. Add your price list if you want it quoting.

02

Forward your number

One dial code at your carrier — every call, or only the ones you miss. You keep the number your customers know.

03

It answers

From the next ring: it books on your calendar, emails confirmations, transfers emergencies to your cell and sends you every detail.

Pressure Washing, answered.

Can it actually quote a driveway over the phone?

Yes, if the price is on your list. Many companies price flat by the surface, for example a two-car driveway, a one-story vinyl house wash, or per square foot for larger concrete. Ansurra asks the size questions you specify, then quotes the matching line word for word. Anything your list marks as estimate-only, such as roofs or rust stains, it books an estimate for instead.

Does it know the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?

It knows what you teach it. From your website or your notes, Ansurra learns which services you offer, whether you soft wash roofs and siding with low pressure, and what you will not do, such as wood shake or painted brick. It explains your services in your terms and never promises a method you do not use.

What happens when it rains and the whole week shifts?

Customers call, Ansurra recognizes them by caller ID, finds their appointment and moves it to an open slot on your calendar during the call. Cancelled slots can be offered to anyone on your waitlist, who are told when one opens. Rescheduled customers get a fresh confirmation email and a reminder a day before the new time.

Can it take commercial inquiries from property managers?

Yes. A property manager calling about monthly sidewalk washing for a strip center gets the same conversation: what surfaces, how many square feet, access hours, whether a water source is available. Ansurra books a walk-through estimate, or a recurring series if you have already agreed on a schedule, and the lead lands in your dashboard with a high score so you call back first.

What does it cost for a one-truck operation?

Starter is $29 a month for 60 talk minutes, which covers most one-truck companies outside the peak. Growth is $49 for 180 minutes for the spring rush. Extra minutes are $0.35 each, there are no contracts, and yearly billing gives one month free. Start with the free trial: 20 real talk minutes, no card required.

How do calls reach it when I am out on jobs all day?

Your carrier forwards them. You keep your existing number and dial one code to send every call to Ansurra, or only the ones you do not pick up within a few rings. Most owners forward everything during the season and take the calls back in the winter. Nothing changes on your truck wrap or your listings.
