The junk removal AI receptionist that books the pickup before the truck is empty
Junk removal sells on speed and price. The caller has a garage they want cleared before the weekend and three tabs open. Ansurra answers on the first ring, asks what and how much, quotes load sizes exactly as your price list reads, and books the pickup or the free on-site estimate on your real calendar.

Where the call gets lost.
The moments a junk removal business misses the phone, and what each one costs.
Your hands are full of somebody's old sofa
A two-person crew is on the truck all day. One is carrying a sleeper sofa down a basement stairwell, the other is tarping the load. The owner is driving to the transfer station. When the phone rings at ten fifteen, nobody can reach it, and the caller with a garage cleanout is already on the next listing that has a phone number.
Cleanouts go to the first company that gives a number
Estate cleanouts, eviction turnovers and pre-listing purges come from people under a deadline: a closing, a landlord, a realtor's photo day. They call three companies and book the one that names a price range and a day. A callback that evening finds the job taken. Speed to a quoted, scheduled pickup is the entire sale in this trade.
Spring and move-out season stack the calls
April through June, and every college town's move-out week, the phone rings while the truck is already full. Landlords call in batches, realtors call about listings, and a single missed hoarder cleanout is a full day's revenue. Winter is quieter, which makes each missed appliance haul or hot tub removal hurt more than it should.
What Ansurra does on the call.
The receptionist, in junk removal terms.
Load-size pricing, read straight from your list
Junk removal quotes by volume: minimum load, quarter, half, three-quarter and full truck, plus single-item rates for a mattress, a couch or a fridge, and surcharges for tires, paint or a piano. You write those on your price list and Ansurra says them word for word. For a hoarder house or a commercial cleanout, it says the crew quotes on site, because your list says so.
Pickups and on-site estimates on the calendar
Ansurra offers only times that are actually open on your Google Calendar or Cal.com, books the arrival window or the free on-site estimate, and emails the customer a confirmation and a reminder the day before. If your calendar is full through Thursday, it offers a waitlist spot, and the customer hears back when a slot frees up instead of being told to call again.
It asks what the truck needs to know
Address and access: driveway, alley, third-floor walk-up, gated community. What is going: furniture, appliances, construction debris, yard waste, electronics. Roughly how much, in the customer's own words. Anything that needs care, a fridge with refrigerant, a water heater, paint cans. Curbside or inside. You define the fields, and every answer is in the summary and on the lead card.
Property managers and realtors get recognized
Your repeat accounts, the property manager with twenty units and the realtor who calls on every listing, are recognized by caller ID and greeted by name with their history. Their new job books in a minute. A same-day plea from a landlord with a turnover tomorrow can transfer straight to your cell, or warm with a one-line briefing, if a truck could swing by.
A call, start to finish.
How a call to Clear Path Junk Hauling — a fictional business — plays out. The receptionist only offers times its calendar shows free and only quotes what the owner's price list says.
Ansurra vs. what you use today.
Voicemail, an answering service, a person at the desk: what each still does better, and what it costs.
Voicemail loses the price shopper
The caller comparing three haulers wants a number and a day. A greeting asking them to leave a message sends them to the next tab. Ansurra answers, quotes your load sizes, books the pickup or the estimate, and leaves you the recording, a summary and a lead scored hot or cold with the reasons. Your callback list in the morning is already sorted.
A human answering service cannot see your truck schedule
A traditional service takes a message politely and hands it back to you for a callback, which is the delay that loses the job. It does not quote your load sizes and cannot book. Ansurra does both live. A human is still better at soothing a customer who feels the crew took too much, or one who plainly wants a person. Take those calls yourself.
An office hire answers eight hours of a twelve-hour day
Junk calls come at seven in the morning, at lunch, and at nine at night when people finally sort the garage. A front-desk salary covers one shift. Ansurra starts at twenty-nine dollars a month, answers every hour, handles two callers at once, and hands you a scored lead list every morning in the daily digest. It does not run your crews. It fills their day.
How it works.
Paste your website
Ansurra reads your services, hours and service area and drafts its own knowledge. Add your price list if you want it quoting.
Forward your number
One dial code at your carrier — every call, or only the ones you miss. You keep the number your customers know.
It answers
From the next ring: it books on your calendar, emails confirmations, transfers emergencies to your cell and sends you every detail.
Junk Removal, answered.
Can it quote by load size the way we do?
Yes. Put your minimum, quarter, half, three-quarter and full-load prices on the price list, along with single-item rates and surcharges, and Ansurra says them exactly as written. It will not estimate how many loads a garage is; it describes the sizes and books the on-site estimate. If your list says something is quoted on site, that is what the caller hears, every time.
What does it say about things we don't take, like paint, tires or a fridge?
It says what your knowledge says. When Ansurra builds itself from your website it learns your accepted and refused items, and you can edit that list any time in the dashboard. If a caller mentions a hazardous item, it notes it in the summary so the crew is not surprised at the curb, and it repeats your policy without improvising a new one.
Can it book a two-hour arrival window instead of an exact time?
It books whatever your calendar offers. If your Google Calendar or Cal.com is set up with two-hour appointment blocks, Ansurra offers and confirms those, between nine and eleven Tuesday morning, and the confirmation email says the same. It only offers times that are actually open, so two crews are never promised to one street at the same hour.
We do a lot of work for property managers. Does it recognize them?
Yes. Returning callers are recognized by caller ID and greeted by name with their history, so a manager calling about the third turnover this month does not start from scratch. You can add fields like unit number and lockbox code, and recurring pickups, a weekly run for a complex, can be booked as a series on your calendar.
We have a dispatcher during the day. Can it take just the overflow?
Yes. Your carrier forwards calls to Ansurra with one dial code, and you choose all calls or only busy and no-answer. With busy and no-answer your dispatcher keeps answering as usual; Ansurra picks up the second line, the lunch hour and everything after closing, and every one of those calls is recorded and summarized. Your number does not change.
What does it cost, and what happens when we go over the minutes?
Plans are priced by talk minutes: Starter $29/mo for 60, Growth $49/mo for 180, Pro $99/mo for 400 with up to 4 phone numbers, Scale $299/mo for 1,000 with up to 7. Going over costs $0.35 a minute, $0.25 on Scale. Yearly billing is one month free. The free trial is 20 talk minutes on the real product with no card, and there is a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment.
