The med spa AI receptionist that books the consult before the caller keeps scrolling
Aesthetic clients shop by phone and decide fast. They call about a consultation, lip filler or a laser package, hear voicemail, and move to the next spa on the map. Ansurra answers in a warm voice, books the consult on your live calendar, quotes only from your menu, and emails the confirmation.

Where the call gets lost.
The moments a med spas business misses the phone, and what each one costs.
The provider is in a treatment room and the phone is in the lobby
In a small med spa the injector is often the owner, and the front desk is one person who also checks in, checks out and photographs before-and-afters. When the phone rings during a filler appointment, nobody can take it. The caller wanted a consultation for a package worth a great deal more than the call it took to book.
Evening is when people finally call about their face
Aesthetic decisions are private ones. Clients research at night, after work and after the kids are down, and they call when they are ready to commit. A spa that closes at six and sends evening calls to a mailbox is asking the client to hold that nerve until morning. Many do not, and the next spa's booking page is open all night.
Cancellations that go unfilled
Neurotoxin appointments are short and dense, and a laser series is scheduled weeks apart. When a client calls to cancel and reaches voicemail, the slot stays empty because nobody heard about it in time to fill it. That is a provider standing in a room with a booked-out schedule and a gap in it, and a waitlist that never got the call.
What Ansurra does on the call.
The receptionist, in med spas terms.
Consults, injectables and series, booked to the right provider
Ansurra reads your live calendar and offers only open times, in the right room and with the right provider. A first consultation gets the length you set; a neurotoxin touch-up takes a short slot; a six-session laser hair removal package can be booked as a recurring series spaced the way your protocol requires. Reschedules happen on the same call, and a cancelled slot is offered to your waitlist.
Your treatment menu, quoted exactly
You maintain the menu in your dashboard: consultation fee, price per unit, per-syringe pricing, package rates, whether the consult fee applies to treatment. Ansurra quotes from that list word for word and never invents a number. When your menu says the total is confirmed at the consultation after the provider assesses, the caller hears exactly that. It never estimates how many units someone will need.
The details your intake needs, without the clipboard
Each booking captures the client's name and callback number, the treatment they are interested in, whether they have had it before, their availability, and any custom fields you define, such as referral source or whether they want the same injector as last time. Everything lands in your dashboard and the confirmation email, and the reminder goes out about a day before the visit.
Clinical questions go to the provider, always
Callers ask whether filler is safe while breastfeeding, how long swelling lasts, or which treatment suits their skin. Ansurra does not answer any of those. It says the provider covers medical questions at the consultation, books that consultation, and notes the question for your team. If a client calls about a reaction after a treatment, Ansurra transfers straight to the provider's cell or takes a detailed message and emails it at once.
A call, start to finish.
How a call to Lumen Aesthetics Studio — a fictional business — plays out. The receptionist only offers times its calendar shows free and only quotes what the owner's price list says.
Ansurra vs. what you use today.
Voicemail, an answering service, a person at the desk: what each still does better, and what it costs.
Voicemail, and the client who never calls back
An aesthetic client leaving a voicemail has already half-decided against you. The call was an impulse of confidence, and a mailbox spends it. Ansurra answers in a warm, unhurried voice, books the consultation on your live calendar, and sends the confirmation while the client is still feeling good about the decision.
A traditional answering service takes the message; it cannot take the booking
Human answering services are polite, and some clients prefer a person, especially for a nervous first call. Their operators cannot see your calendar or your treatment menu, so every call becomes a callback for a team that is already in treatment rooms. Ansurra books directly, quotes your menu exactly, and charges a flat monthly fee. For an upset client after a treatment, though, put a person on the phone.
Front-desk staff, with the phone covered
A great patient coordinator is worth every dollar, and Ansurra is not meant to replace one. It keeps the phone answered when she is photographing a client, closing out a sale, or gone for the night, and it hands her a dashboard each morning listing who booked, what for, and how the lead was scored. Her time goes to the people in the room.
How it works.

It answers
From the next ring: it books on your calendar, emails confirmations, transfers emergencies to your cell and sends you every detail.
Med Spas, answered.
Will it tell callers how many units or syringes they need?
No. Ansurra never estimates dosing, syringes, units or results, and never says whether a treatment is suitable for someone. It quotes the per-unit or per-syringe price from your menu if you list one, explains that the injector assesses at the consultation, and books that consultation. Any medical question is noted for the provider and left to them.
Can it book a laser or peel series with the right spacing?
Yes. A package of six laser hair removal sessions or a series of peels can be booked as recurring appointments on the live calendar, spaced the way you set for that treatment. The client hears only genuinely open times for each session, gets a confirmation for the series, and a reminder email about a day before each visit. Moving one session does not disturb the rest.
How does it handle a client who calls about swelling or a reaction after treatment?
It treats that as urgent. Ansurra takes the client's name, number and what they are describing, then transfers the call straight to the provider's cell, or gives the provider a one-line spoken briefing first if you prefer that. After hours it emails the full details immediately. It does not offer reassurance about symptoms or suggest what to do; that is the provider's call.
Can it quote our memberships and packages?
It quotes whatever you put on your price list, word for word: consultation fee, per-unit pricing, syringe pricing, package rates, monthly membership tiers and what each includes. Anything you leave off the list it declines to price and points to the consultation. Update the list once and every call from then on says the new number.
What does Ansurra cost for a single-location spa?
Starter is $29 a month for 60 talk minutes, Growth is $49 for 180, Pro is $99 for 400 minutes and up to four numbers, and Scale is $299 for 1,000 minutes and up to seven numbers. Extra minutes are $0.35 each, or $0.25 on Scale. Yearly billing gives you one month free. Begin with a free trial of 20 talk minutes, no card required, backed by a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.
Does it run on our website too, and can it talk to our other software?
The same receptionist runs as a chat widget on your website, answering the same questions and booking from the same live calendar. Bookings, calls and leads can be pushed to other tools through Zapier or a custom webhook, so your client records stay current. Setup takes about two minutes: paste your website and Ansurra builds its knowledge from your services and hours.
